Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Alessandro Fecchi, owner of Enoteca di Gubbio, based at Via Nicola Vantaggi 11, 06024 Gubbio (PG), Italy.
Italian tax code (Cod. Fisc.) FCCLSN70T30H501H · VAT number IT02384140543

2. What data is processed
This site does not use contact forms, does not require registration, and does not set profiling or analytics cookies. The only personal data processed is what a visitor chooses to share by writing an email or calling the phone number shown on the site (for example, name, email address and the content of the message).
3. Purpose and legal basis
Data shared by email or phone is used only to answer the request received (for example, information about the wine bar or an informal booking). The legal basis is either steps taken at the visitor's own request before entering into an arrangement, or the legitimate interest in responding to a contact request (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the GDPR).
4. Cookies and third-party services embedded on the site
This site uses technical cookies required for it to work, for which no consent is needed, and Google Analytics 4 measurement cookies (provided by Google Ireland Limited), which are set only after the visitor gives explicit consent.
On a first visit a banner appears at the bottom of the page with two choices: "Accept" and "Decline". Until then no Google script is loaded and no measurement cookie is set. Choosing "Decline" activates no analytics at all; choosing "Accept" loads Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation, collecting aggregate data on pages viewed, traffic sources and device type, for the sole purpose of statistical analysis of how the site is used. The legal basis is the visitor's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The choice is remembered by the browser through local storage (not a cookie) and can be withdrawn at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.
The Contact page offers a Google Maps map that is shown only on request: the map is not loaded automatically when the page opens, only after the visitor clicks the "Show the map" button. Only at that point does the browser load resources from Google's domain, which may set Google's own technical cookies independently of the site owner. For details on how Google processes data, see Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. The site does not use any other third-party service: no advertising pixels, no social media plugins.
5. Data retention
Emails received are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and, afterwards, for as long as required by law (for example, accounting or tax obligations), after which they are deleted.
6. Your rights
At any time you can write to a.enoteca70@gmail.com to exercise the rights set out in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing, and data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe the processing breaches applicable law.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the site or applicable law changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
